Welcome to Mokṣaḿ Yoga, a serene space where our foundation is rooted in the heritage of senior teacher Nancy Gilgoff as passed down from K. Pattabhi Jois. While Ashtanga Vinyasa remains the backbone of our studio, we embrace a holistic journey by offering a selection of other styles to support your practice. Founded in 2013 and serving Vienna since 2019, our sanctuary focuses on small group settings and individual guidance. We are dedicated to providing a clear, supportive, and sustainable environment where every student can cultivate a lifelong, genuine connection to the art of yoga.

Gregory T Choi , PhD

Where deep scientific insight, professional exercise physiology, and dedicated Ashtanga teaching unite to offer a scientifically grounded approach to the spiritual art of yoga

Greg seamlessly bridges the gap between scientific methodology and the art of yoga, drawing on his distinguished background as an Oxford-trained Biophysics researcher and former faculty member at the University of Connecticut’s School of Pharmacy. Also an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist (EP-C) since 2005, he integrates deep clinical knowledge into his yoga teaching. In 2009, he transitioned from his academic career to pursue full-time instruction, refining his practice under senior Ashtanga masters including Nancy Gilgoff, David Swenson, Danny Paradise, and Paul Dallaghan. His holistic approach is further enriched by a 100-hour Pranayama course with Sri O. P. Tiwari and a dedicated study of Vedanta and Jnana Yoga under Swami Abhishek Chaitanya Giri, which he has maintained since 2015.
